Moving from the small scale objects to the bigger scale of a building, the project’s site was Asylum, an arts organisation based in Peckham, London. Using text as a method of understanding and notating space, the plan is reconfigured and rethought according to the activities that happened inside it as well as according to objects and situations that have been noticed. The space is 3D scanned in order to be explored both virtually and physically. Using 3 cameras, including a front view camera, a moving camera and a virtual camera, the site is seen as a series of experiential observations, from steps 1 to 21, expressed on a drawing consisting only of words, that the performer is going to further translate into movement. Architecture turns into a choreography.
